Because serving high-quality water is our business, Suburban adheres to stringent water quality testing and monitoring requirements to ensure that every drop of the water delivered to your home or business meets state and federal health and safety standards. We have backed our commitment of maintaining high water quality standards by dedicating the necessary human and technological resources to quality assurance programs.
We have seven full-time water quality specialists in the field whose primary function is to ensure the safety, quality and reliability of your water. These water quality technicians are all state and industry certified in water quality control procedures and operations. Collectively, they hold more than 80 years of experience in water distribution, management and treatment.
This team takes approximately 5,000 water samples a year from wells, reservoirs and homes. These samples are tested by independent, state-certified laboratories, where they are analyzed as mandated by law.
Every year, we publish the results of our water testing program in Suburban's Annual Water Quality Report.
